Requirements include B.S. in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field. Minimum 1 year experience with CERCLA/RCRA/UST, remediation systems and well installation/Geoprobe preferred. Some travel required. Cost Estimator — Atlanta, GA. KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. seeks a Cost Estimator in its Atlanta, GA operation to accurately prepare cost estimates for Environmental Remediation contract bids. Position is responsible for preparing takeoffs, determining project tasks, obtaining current and accurate information on prices and design options, as well as recommending best value solutions. Additional assignments may include project management, project budget preparation and technical writing. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in the commercial construction field to include environmental remediation project estimating, reviewing proposals/blueprints/specifications, determining scope of work and required contents of estimates. Minimum of two-year degree in Engineering or Construction Technology and current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificate required. Must have demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Excel/Word and estimating software required. Position requires availability for up to 40% travel. Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager — Atlanta, GA. KEMRON has an immediate opening for a Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager to be based in our Atlanta, GA office. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the EH&S aspects of project-related work involved with remedial construction and site investigation at hazardous waste and munitions sites, as well as to provide support for the corporate health and safety programs through procedure revision, training support, incident evaluation and tracking, and H&S process/performance improvement. Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years’ progressive hands-on experience in the development, implementation and management of safety programs, policies, and procedures for corporate-wide use from the project level to the maintenance of a corporate culture of safety. Prior experience must include supervision and management of safety issues in the field at remedial construction sites and the preparation of approvable safety plans programs and documents for DoD, as well as compliance with federal, state and local safety laws and regulations. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health & safety or other closely-related discipline and professional certification (CIH or CSP preferred) is required. Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist — Marietta, OH. KEMRON is seeking qualified entry and mid-level staff environmental professionals to support projects managed from our Marietta, OH office. Professional positions require a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline, with 2 to 5 years of applied environmental experience preferred. Excellent writing and communication skills with demonstrated experience working with projects subject to RCRA or CERCLA requirements. Experience developing, implementing and managing compliance sampling and reporting under NPDES, stormwater management and groundwater programs is highly desired. Professional licensure/certification, or ability to obtain applicable certification a plus. Must have current valid driver’s license and meet medical and drug screening criteria.
