State & Local Government

We provide environmental support to state and local government throughout the country including technical support, regulatory review and development, investigation of contaminated properties and design and cleanup of contaminated sites. KEMRON has completed well over $50 million in support to state and local governments.

KEMRON has supported a number of cities and municipalities in securing Brownfield grants and executing the requirements under these grants. KEMRON has supported states in the implementation of investigation and cleanup of contaminated properties supporting state Departments of Transportation, Departments of Natural Resources and various environmental protection agencies.

Representative Projects

City of Nitro USEPA Petroleum and Hazardous Assessment Grants Project. KEMRON is currently assisting the City of Nitro, WV with its EPA Petroleum and Hazardous Assessment Brownfields Grant projects in and around the City of Nitro, West Virginia. Read more

Georgia Underground Storage Tank Contract. During our tenure as a state contractor, we were involved in more than 3,000 tank projects including review of closure and corrective action plans, tank tightness testing, emergency response to leaks, investigations, design of remedial solutions, site remediation and long term O & M. Providence Park. KEMRON provided environmental services to the park following the discovery of drums and containers on the park premises. KEMRON conducted an interim removal action by removing and disposing of several dozen of the drums and containers visible at the surface. Read more
