KEMRON offers 24/7 emergency response services throughout the eastern US for spills, accidents, fires, natural disasters, abandonment and biological weapons contamination.  As an experienced Emergency Response and Recovery Services (ERRS) contractor for the USEPA, we stand ready with the necessary resources to perform immediate and planned response services for businesses and government entities in USEPA Regions 3, 4 and 5.

    Emergency Response. Under the Stafford Act, KEMRON responded to Hancock County, MS site of the landfall for Hurricane Katrina. Tasks completed during the response effort included the cleanup and removal of chlorine cylinders, drums and flammable liquids; cleanup and decontamination of damaged chemistry lab and other chemical storage sites, identification, recovery and disposal of materials on the waterways; and the pickup, segregation and disposal of hazardous materials.     Anthrax Response. KEMRON completed remedial and removal actions during the decontamination of the congressional office buildings in response to an anthrax release. KEMRON was on site within 24 hours of a call from EPA. KEMRON, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for a period of 10 weeks, performed removal efforts, physical removal and disposal of expendable items, and final remediation of spores using chemical treatment through a fumigation process and a spray/washdown process.
